Wonder if there's a copy of Warsong in there from the old timer Sega Genesis.

I saw this over on Digg earlier. That collection is INSANE! I wonder how much money the owner spent over the years on all that stuff (between buying new and garage sale shopping)? Pretty cool.

He should buy some more book shelves though and make his basement more like a libraries "stacks" as the games on the floor make me hurt inside.

It does look like the floor is covered but it's an optical illusion.

I don't have enough time in my life to play everything on the back bookshelf, let alone the rest.

Agreed. I'm sure at least half of those games aren't even good. And even if they were, you'd ever be able to play them all and find out.

Think about how many of those games are flat-out awful. Of course, it's pretty obvious those games aren't there to be played, anyway.

Considering how much stuff is in the way, he doesn't seem too concerned with actually being able to play any of the games.

OMG!!! If you haven't done so already, click the link that Phod gave above. Even if you don't read the interview, just take a look at the pictures at the bottom. There are dozens of shelves filled with thousands of additional games not pictured in the first pic in our thread. Wow. I thought the first picture was amazing. Looking at another 8 or so is just incredible.

WTF? He has a 360 just sitting there on display. Why buy all these games and systems if you have no intention of playing them?

Collecting games doesn't have anything to do with actually playing them

I hope that's his kid and not just a part of his "collection" ... *shudders*

Remember that guy that had over 20,000 dvds? His collection of games looks a little bit more organized.
