MADDEN 2006 Freezes for XBOX- What gives?

Madden 2006 for the Original xbox. I am playing season 2 and for some odd reason i cant even play 1 regular season game...... what gives?

it froze on my 360 also :( so the original xbox version isn't the only one suffering from this.

it is freaking frustrating...... there is plenty of vent space..... i cant simulate the season but i actually want to play it......
