Civilization IV spaceship ?
 

Any CiV vets out there who can help me with this?

This is my first Civ game and I'm still learning it - but I was approaching the end of the game and I was going for the spaceship win condition. I had 5 casings, 3 thrusters, and 1 of everything else. i.e. supposedly everything I needed. I never saw any option for launching the thing. Must the parts be assembled first? How is this done?

Once you complete the last piece, it ends the game. It should go to a cut-away and you get to watch the thing head off to Alpha Centauri if I remember right.
Are you sure you have EVERYTHING?
Will it still let you build anything? If so, then you don't have everything.

i think you need a bunch of casings, a few engines and thrusters then the docking bay, life support and i forgot what else. maybe a pilot module.

which techs have you not discovered yet?
