check out the BB and Target ads...they both got the 360's in stock starting today...the ad says 399.99...i guess its mostly or all premiums...i waited months to get my hands on it...its finally time.

I finally got one yesterday. Wow, it is so cool. I have a Windows Media Center PC, and the coolest feature is being able to acess all my audio/video files on my Xbox. And it works so seamlessly and was a breeze to set up.

bestbuy is a mediawhore. i hope that people aren't camping out in front of the damn stores anymore.

Visited 2 Best Buys both had stacks of Premiums. My local Sam's also had bundles today - 449.00 for a Premium (w/free media remote), extra wireless controller and plug n' charge.

Nobody should have trouble finding one today.......

There's been worse launches. This one just had the most media coverage.

Was out shopping today and saw units still available at Best Buy, Circuit City, Target and elsewhere.

Even with a fat Tax refund on it's way I'm still waiting a couple generations. :lol:

The PS2 launch was just as bad in terms of consoles not being available and defects. The difference there is that Sony didn't attempt a worldwide launch.

Sort of relevant: The Atari 2600 didn't take off as expected when it launched... until Space Invaders was released. Atari then rationed console units to stores for nearly a year trying to placate demand, making it a very hard to come by item initially.

I disagree. You could at least see people on the street corners outside of WalMart trying to sell their PS2's when they were in demand. I never even saw a 360 until last week when I was able to buy one.

I was able to get a PS2 right one month after release date, and I wasn't even trying that hard.

People weren't as Ebay savvy when the PS2 came out.

And I got my 360 at noon on launch day. I guess the quality of each system's launch directly relates to when you get one. (And by you I mean "anyone"... this isn't an argument).

I think they're readily available now. They were at Costco for over a couple days. Best Buy, Circuit City, Target all had ads this Sunday saying they had "at least 30" in stock.

I just got the last premium box at the Best Buy in Orland Park about an hour ago. They still had a shitload of the core systems.

20 premium xbox 360s just as you enter the Tustin CA Best Buy store. Guess finally everyone who wants a 360 can now get theirs.

I'm exchanging mine because Ghost Recon locked up about 5 times within 2 hours Ridiculous.
