Best Buy in Nashua NH received a shipment today.

3 of my Best Buys now have premiums. Got mine last week, but I'm still trying to get some of my friends to jump on 'em.

I finally found one, a premium one at that. If any one lives in the Southern Cali area, there is around 4 Targets in San Bernardino and Fontana that have around 5 premium systems each. I hope this helps someone.

I am pleased to say that I have finally received my XBOX. I was on the pre-order list at EB Games since early October. They called yesterday and I pcked up my Premium system with Call of Duty and PGR3. Can't believe it's only been 8 weeks since the release...it feels like it was released 2 years ago.

I got one this morning from Best Buy. I have been using the link provided about 2 pages back everyday and today Tallahassee showed bold so I went at 11:30 and got 1. They had about 14 left when I got mine.

See, listen to me and you shall be rewarded. 3rd week in a row now. Best Buy gets Xbox 360s on Tuesday Nights, ready for sale Wednesday.

Barney, thanks for the info you provided it made trying to find one locally much much easier, plus I did not have to be ever call the store.

Darn, sucks I missed out on some classic responses.
I however did ask each time I went to a store that carries them. I was at Circuit City 2 days ago and they laughed and said they would be lucky to have any in before the middle/end of February. Then at Wal-Mart they got confused when I asked if they were getting in 360 Premiums since they had a 360 Core in the display case, I don't think she realized there were 2 versions.

It seems like the Target's near me were always giving me the "we might never get them again" attitude.

Ok, and how can I say this without giving away too much about where I work :)... I saw <i>at least</i> 4 or 5 Premium 360's purchased walk out the door ,<i>and</i>, I was told when I got off around closing time there were 2 left and that I could have one if I wanted it. I thought about how I've got to take my car to the shop next week and I chickened out. :( Mind you, this was in the evening. Most of the stories I've heard are that the 360s are gone by mid-morning after the shipment.

Also, when the 360 rush was in full swing they were hiding them in a box and escorting people to the door after buying. However, now they were bringing them up to the door in plain site with no escort.

I'm just not super thrilled about any games, aside from COD2. I have the money, and serveral opportunities(minor effort) but I'm not super excited about getting one. Guess I'm getting old... :/

I will have one for Ghost Recon 3 though! and I will get a PS3, since there are some cool games that I've wanted to play on the PS2. But with the rumors of the PS3 being pushed back to November 2006, I may have to get a 360 just to satisfy my purchasing urge.

Barney, have you tried the PSP yet? I love this thing and even though I got one of the only 2 xbox360 premiums in town yesterday, I won't be hooking it up right now since I am still playing the PSP exclusively. Well, I played a little Mario Kart on the DS when I bought that for my wife on Thursday. :)

I've been trying to find games for the 360 and they are sold out at all the Best Buys around here. Don't know if it's the $10 off coupon, but the shelves were empty. Plenty of DOA4s, some EA games, but PDZ, Amped 3, King Kong, Condemned, Quake, Ridge Racer 6, PGR3, Gun... Nowhere to be found. I talked with one of the BB employees and he said games were pretty much flying off the shelves.

No, I haven't, although my buddy wants me to get one. I haven't even seen one to play with, or it's that I've never had the opportunity. I'll check it out though...

Same thing at Circuit City. Took me a second to realize they charged me $59.99 for Amped. I think I will probably be returning it.

Does CC have a price-match policy? Every other place has Amped for $49.99...

They definitely do. It's easier to pricematch at Circuit City than Best Buy, imo.

I really don't even want a 360 anymore. I might just hold out for a PS3 now :lol:

I'm equally stoked for the other 360 releases from Bioware - Mass Effect. The game sounds like it is going to be incredible.
