I'm glad that most of you got your x box 360's. It seems if I would have looked around the last couple weeks like you all, I would have got one if I had the money. No X Box 360 for me though right now. I quit my job, so you know how that goes. :)

Does anyone have the "Get $10 off any accessory $29.99 or more" coupon? I was thinking of getting a memory card, because we have one of those kiosks at work where you can download exclusive content, as well as getting unlockable game content from my friends.

Either the website is not accurate or the BB employees lie on the phone (probably both). I dropped by the North Austin store tonight and they didn't have any. Said they should have a truck tonight and have them on the shelf tomorrow.

We'll see...

What's march? If you think PS3 comes then your wronf reports form Japan say it won't release there until May and 5-6 months later in the States.

March is the expected date for when you can walk into any store at any time and walk out with a 360 with no problems.

March 2007 can't get here soon enough! :)

Stock shortages may mean Microsoft fails to meet sales targets

As Xbox 360 units continue to fly out of stores as soon as they arrive, US analysts have predicted that stock shortages could mean Microsoft fails to meet its current quarter sales targets.

In a new report, Goldman Sachs analyst Richard Sherlund wrote that although it was hard to establish exactly how many Xbox 360s have been shipped globally so far, he believes the figure may stand at as little as 1.3 million units - which could make it tough for Microsoft to reach its goal of 3 million sales by the end of this quarter.

"It's clear that something disrupted the supply of Xbox 360 shipments in the quarter, and there does not appear to be any end of year catch-up in shipments," Sherlund wrote.

"It appears to us that Microsoft may be producing at 600,000 to 800,000 units per month, likely adequate to meet our estimate of 2 million units for the March quarter."

Sherlund's comments were echoed by Bank of America analyst Gary Cooper, who predicted that a maximum of just 200,000 Xbox 360 consoles will be shipped by the end of the month.

"We believe MSFT has told most retailers to expect minimal replenishments of Xbox 360s in the month of January," Cooper wrote.

"This is materially below most retailers and our own expectations... We question whether MSFT can even reach the low end of its 2.5-3 million Xbox 360 unit guidance by mid/late February given its continuous supply problems."

Anyway, managed to grab a Premium about 15 minutes ago at the Round Rock BB! They still had 6 Prem and 2 Core when I left. The Premium I got still had the remote included.

Here's hoping no one breaks into my car before work is over. :)

I just called five BB's within driving distance (~30min) and none had them :(

I think a 'Failed Launch' would have been a 'no launch'.

This is more like running the marathon and not crossing the finish line until 2 months later than you thought!

So far, this has been WELL worth it. I downloaded the Condemned demo and the Kameo demo, and have been playing CoD2 and Madden 06 today. I also downloaded a few of the free trial Live Arcade games, and those are great also.

I have no regrets at all here. :)

So... This isn't failure???
