Anybody hear anything from Ebgames.com? Its odd that Gamestop seems to keep pumping out systems and we hear nothing from EB?

Its obvious that a lot of systems are popping up online today and I have a feeling this thing should be easy to find in January.

It's not in stock at B&N. It says it "Usually ships within 24 hours from Gamestop." My 1K bundle from Gamestop has been saying that since Sat.

Well, my local wally world guy just told me they got 6 yesterday and were sold out in a matter of minutes. He said "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but we are supposed to be getting more. I'm not sure if it's today or tomorrow though. The are unloading a truck right now and what they do is bring them to us and we announce it over the PA". Not sure if he was playing with me or not so I did some other shopping then loitered in the electronics department for about 10 minutes before leaving w/out a 360.

You don't have to have a membership to stop by and look. First you could call there and find out, or just stop in and get a "pass" because you are interested in signing up.

There are a bunch showing up on ebay as I type this. If you use paypal and use the code "C11-GIFTGUIDE" it will take 10% off up to $25, a good way to get "free" shipping.

Coupon expire December 18th.

I picked a premium up at Target this morning when they opened. They had about 10 or so.

Costco is the only store that is not even within 50 miles of me. Go figure.

I might try a couple places tomorrow. I can't really afford one right now, but if I could make a small profit on it, then I'd be able to afford one later.

Or I could just wait. Besides Perfect Dark Zero, and maybe PGR3, there's nothing that really makes me want to buy the system.

Considering they are pretty hard to get, I think you'd be better off spending time working than trying to find one to sell to make a small profit.

Well, when you're planning on smashing it as soon as you leave the store springing for the extras hardly seems necessary.

Went to Fry's in San Diego. They said that got 6 in today (another guy standing there said four but the manager looking guy said six) and that they sold out of them quickly.

Exactly what I have been doing. If I happen to come across one, cool, maybe I'll sell it, hell maybe I'll keep it. But I won't stand in lines for 12 hours, camp out, or go to 5-6 stores in a row to see if it's in stock.

EDIT: Oh, and when I say I can't afford it right now, I mean I can afford it (could always put it on a credit card, but I stopped using them) but I can't see spending $500 right now.

Well boys and girls, my journey is finally over. After pitching a fit to the district managre in my area, I was able to have my pre-order fulfilled.

If you're in LA I know a comic book store that has them brand new in stock. However, the prices are 799(core) and 899(premium). That's why they still have them. . From what I've seen in this thread ...some of you are close to paying that anyway.

edit:

Here's their site and you can order them there too. Lets see if this post causes a mad dash.
