How do you protect GC Games?

I know there are D-skins for regular sized cd's and dvd's but I am wondering if anyone knows of someway to protect GameCube games. I have two children and these disks end up being coasters after a month or so. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Have you thought about maybe keeping them in the case they came in

I keep them in the case that they came in, but the ones that I play alot or take with me on vacation, I have one of those zippered-mini-disc cases with the Nintendo logo on it. Got it for $5 on sale at Wal*Mart one year.

I use the nintendo zipper thingy. I keep that in a gamecube holder with all my gamecube stuff.

Thanks SmartA$$e$!
Someday when you have kids, you will understand why I am asking this question. For a 4 and 6 year old, they do a pretty good job picking them up by the sides and putting them back in the case but they are still young and these are not the glory days of cartridges.
I also HATE scratched disks.
Thanks for those who suggested the zipper idea.

But I am still looking for a solution to keep them scratchfree. Any thought comercial solutions?

There are all kinds of game sleeves that are made for GC games, but if tey arn't putting them back in the case I doubt you'd get them to use some other protection holder.

Again, it's not that they aren't putting them back...it's that they are very young. D-skins solve this problem for full sized cd's. They never get damaged...period.
It seems that no company has produced anything like this for GC yet.

keep them in the case they come in. Teach them to respect games, they cost a lot! Otherwise don't let them use it.

Well, if you know what you want, and they don't make it, I would venture to guess you are out of luck.

My nephew (4years old) manages the discs fine for his cube, so maybe your kids are almost at the age where it won't be a problem in the future. Goodluck.

I don't know much about those D-skins, but could you cut them to fit a GC disc?

Lots of people here have kids. Some of them even let their kids play their video games.

I have a 7 yo and a 5 yo. That's why in our house we have a rule. They have to come and ask us for a new game. We keep them out of reach and the games stay safe.

I just keep them in the original case. My son has been playing my CD based games since the 3DO and Sega CD when he was 5 and he has always been good about carefully putting the game back in the case when done. I'll teach my daughter the same thing when she starts playing Putt Putt and Sesame Street on the 3DO in a year or so.

Isn't it a clear plastic applique? Can you use a exacto knife to cut it down to size?
My only other suggestion is they can't touch the games. When my siblings come over they cannot get the game themselves; they need to ask me first and I will load and unload them.
