I am surprised to see the Punisher absent from that list. It came out back in Jan, and has to be one of the most violent games of all time. Using people as human shields, putting a grenade in their mouth and watching them run around till their head explodes...good times...

A strange list indeed, although I think some people here are confusing the word 'violent' with 'gore/gruesome'. Admittedly, the two words go hand-in-hand with one another. It's difficult to imagine one without the other.
