Nice, unfortunately the brand new CC near me lists everything as 'not in stock'. I don't really feel like buying 3200 Marketplace points in order to get free shipping. I am going to sit on it for a couple of days and see if the website updates their stock info.

what do the points do?

You can spend them in the Xbox Live Marketplace and XBox Live Arcade. You can purchase:

• Arcade games ranging from 400 to 1200 points
• Gamertag Picture Packs from 20 to 80 points
• Xbox 360 Themes for about 150 to 200 points
• Bonus content download

That list will probably be expanded in the future. There is other stuff on the Marketplace such as game demos and movie trailers, but that stuff is free.

Yeah, they have some decent ARCADE games actually, basically some old-school classics like Gauntlet and Joust (which can be played co-op over LIVE)...I honestly was going to pass on all of this, but the price is right now.

Yep, they caught their goof. However, it's still a little misleading. You're not saving 10 bucks... no one is selling 1600 points for $30.

Looks like i missed out. Now I guess i will have to spend a little more for my games for the time being.
