Thanks for making light of my spelling error in such an artistic way. :D

btw, I'd love to have a Miro hanging in my house.

Well.....

I honestly am not familiar with his work. I just googled it and posted the "funniest" picture.

Unless you really want a more compact system, the DS is the way to go. It plays all the great GBA games and the killer DS lineup. For the little extra money you get so much more system. I didn't realize how much more powerful the DS was until I got it. It is like a N64 in your hand. I saw a kid on an airplane the other day with a PSP and I thought two things - 1) damn, that is a sweet looking handheld; 2) why don't they make any games I want to play for it?

When you play GBA games on the DS, do the games fill out the entire screen? And how is the other screen used? I know it may be trivial to most, but I just don't like the way the GB games look on GBAs, with the black borders and all. It is very nitpicky, but still an issue with me.

BTW, y'all's DS enthusiasm really has me considering going in that direction ...

There is a black border, unfortunately. But the screen is very bright and GBA games look good. You can play the games on either screen. The unused screen is empty.

No the whole screen isn't used, there's borders on the sides when playing GBA games. But they still look fantastic. The screen is better than the SP, but probably not quite as good as the new brighter SP or Micro.

The other screen is not used at all during GBA games, you set up in options whether you want GBA games to display on the bottom or top screen.

The logical choice for the next facelift would be the Nintendo DS. Last year's hottest holiday gift has seen its popularity grow as Nintendo and third party publishers have put out increasingly appealing software, but the device itself is fairly ugly by gaming standards.

Fils-Aime hinted a revamped DS is in the works: "As soon as [the DS] was launched, we started looking at ways to tweak it visually."

hmm might just stick with the sp till the new one comes out
