Stopped by Sears this afternoon. They said they got 2 systems in this morning and they sold both of them immediately when the store opened. They said they have no idea when more will be coming...just keep checking back in store.

It was $799 with premium system, 5 games, extra controller, silver faceplate, play/charge kit and so on.

You can always ebay or return the items that you dont want to Toysrus or walmart.

Im giving this one to my friend who has been wanting one (at cost of course).

I got the same one. I think it was the "mature" bundle. I'm only going to return 2 of the games and keep everything else since I was planning on getting all that stuff anyway.

So RockStrongo, will Toys R Us will take the games back without a problem since they are partnered with Amazon?

Im going to Target tomorrow morning at open and hopefully some 360s will be there. I might just hang around the mall its located in for a few hours to make sure I dont leave and they are done unpacking.

More should pop up at Amazon. I think that they are staggering it because they had some available yesterday that I missed out on. Yet they came back with more today.

No it says they have to hold 20 for the 18th. So if they get more than 20 they can put them out.

The way I interpret that is the 16th is the next "Official" shipment coming from the warehouse. It makes sense to me that they would still get drop shipments till then and that if you're interested in the Core system you can probably get one on the 16th or 17th since it says they're getting them but it's not part of the ad. Hell I might see if I can get a core unit and hold it till the 18th so that if I can indeed get a premium or hopefully more than one premium for some friends I can sell the core unit to someone.
