It's not worth it if you haven't heard of it. Just some "funny" internet moment of the week a while back. I was just surprised to see it mentioned on Jeopardy.

Can someone please explain this? I feel like it is five years ago and someone is telling me that all my base are belong to us and I don't understand how or why it is funny.

That's because it's not. The dude runs into the cave or instance or whatever, and gets all his friends killed while yelling LEEEROOOOY JENKINS at the top of his lungs. It was funny the first few seconds. After the 10th time the "leader" of the group says "Christ", it's not funny anymore.

EDIT: Although it probably didn't need it's own thread and could have just gone in the WoW thread with people that actually know the reference.

The moment itself isn't exactly the biggest funny thing. It's the whole situation. A pally going for devout shoulders so he can "heal better." The guild's name PALS 4 LIFE. And each individual name of each character being just a regular name. Among other things, all of those going in into one just made it quite amusing.

That was great. The whole Leroy thing still cracks me up. What kind of kids are those not being down with the WoW? Who actually studies in college? LOSERS!
