Video Game Draft - Voting for Round 2

Welcome to round two of the Video Game Draft Tournament! 16 DVDTalkers drafted 10 console or portable video games. Now it is up you, the fine gamers of DVDTalk, to vote on which player has drafted the best collection.

Players have been randomly paired up by me picked slips of paper out of a bag. To vote reply to this post telling me who you think has the best lineup. Your vote will not count unless you vote on every pair! Your vote will not count if you edit the post where you vote!

Players in the game are encouraged to vote. Optionally, they are also allowed to post to this thread telling everybody why they think you should vote for their collection.

So, let the voting begin! Voting ends on Tuesday, November 15th, at the exact time of the timestamp of this post. Match-ups will be listed in the first reply to this post.

Good luck to all the participants!

1. D_N_G vs cleaver

D_N_G
1. Super Mario Bros. 3 - NES

2. Final Fantasy III - SNES
3. Legend of Zelda - NES
5. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - PS2
8. Forza Motorsport - XBox
9. Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo - Playstation

My Pick: DNG -- Link's Awakening is one of the best games ever, this one is really close, though.

2. maxfisher vs DJ_Longfellow

maxfisher
1. Resident Evil 4 - Gamecube
3. Bionic Commando - NES
4. Contra 3: The Alien Wars - SNES

1. Halo 2 - XBox
2. Mike Tyson's Punch Out - NES
3. Streets of Rage 2 - Genesis

2. Tecmo Super Bowl - NES
4. NHL '94 - Genesis
5. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - PS2

2. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - XBox
6. Virtua Tennis - Dreamcast
7. Battletoads - NES

My Pick: msd. Baseball Stars and SM64 are two of my top 10 games of all-time. GPW has a couple more games that I like, but msd has more star power.

Ok, here we go

1- Cleaver (tied at 5-5; wins tiebreaker because of most enjoyable game on the list, Super Puzzle Fighter)
2- DjLongfellow (9-1, but some of the matchups were tough calls, so this is closer than it seems; besides, I am one of those people who think Mario Kart for SNES is better than the N64 one)
3- ryuryu2949 (who, me?)
4- gimmepilotwings (6-4, very close)

1. Cleaver - on the strength of GTA:SA, Soul Calibur 2 & Metroid Prime 2. Although RE alone almost made me pick D_N_G. Almost.
2. maxfisher. Resident Evil 4 - come on, it's a no-brainer.
3. ryuryu2949. Easily.
4. msdmoney. The hardest decision to make but Mario 64, Metriod Prime and RE4 is a powerful combination.

1. cleaver
2. DJ_Longfellow - Old school push, but I like DJ's current gen titles better
3. ryuryu2949 - Some great matchups within the matchups; I remember ryu's titles a little more fondly (TMNT was the reason I bought a SNES)
4. gimmepilotwings - DIdn't see the logic of drafting Burnout 3, and so many of gpw's games are must own for the system
