:) I wanted to pick it in the 2nd round, but the game is good enough to go in the first round IMO.

keyed 10-27-05 03:38 PM

Tecmo Bowl - NES

gimmepilotwings 10-27-05 03:39 PM

^^ yet another great pick! Although I would have went with Super....

cleaver 10-27-05 03:42 PM

Who thinks I should expand the field to 32? I was worried early about lack of interest, but their seems to be a steady flow of gamers.

gimmepilotwings 10-27-05 03:44 PM

it works for me. I wont be able to make my next pick until bright and early tomorrow morning anyway.

Rainmaker 10-27-05 04:52 PM

1) Final Fantasy II - SNES

Tell me about it. I think that this will get really hard around the 4th round. Buy the 7th round we will be busting out the dance dance revolution choices.

No way. It will be impossible to go 10 rounds with 32 people. I have a hard time thinking of 100 great games let alone 320.

cleaver 10-27-05 08:56 PM

The field will be limited to 16 players. 2nd round picks can be made starting at 11 AM EST 10/28 whether the field is full or not.

Maxflier 10-27-05 11:01 PM

With the 15th pick in the inaugural DVDTalk Video Game Draft, Maxflier selects: from Playstation 2....Grand Theft Auto III.

msdmoney 10-27-05 11:50 PM

In with the last pick, Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64.

Zelda OoT and RE4 already gone.

I'd recommend making the time later. 8:00 AM is really early for people on the left coast.

Canis Firebrand 10-28-05 06:28 AM

How about the same time as the Music draft? 12 PM EST. That makes it 9am PST.

I don't want to change it now, as in today, because everyone thinks it's at 11.

Canis Firebrand 10-28-05 08:10 AM

Understandable.. how about make a post that starting for Round 3(Monday), the time changes.

That is if you want to change the time. Ultimately it is your decision, as its your game. :)

OK, starting Monday picks will be accepted at 12 PM EST. I'll update the rules on page 1 after the picks start.

Another selection of mine gone. I can't see any of my original list lasting past round 4.

gimmepilotwings 10-28-05 09:09 AM

yep, this was my round 2 selection. Picking in the middle of the round is going to be the death of me I think.

There's no set draft order. Anyone can draft 1st in a round if they're the 1st to post after 11 AM.

Does anyone not want to move the draft time to 12 PM EST because it conflicts with the music draft or for any other reason?

gimmepilotwings 10-28-05 09:46 AM

just wanting to verify that the drafting starts in about 10 minutes, correct?

The only other reason I could see would be daylight savings time starts.

ryuryu2949 10-28-05 09:52 AM

Maybe make this draft begin at 1PM Eastern time beginning Monday?

orangecrush 10-28-05 09:59 AM

I would be for that. Although, I think this time is great as well.

maxfisher 10-28-05 10:00 AM
