Tiger Woods 2006 - Anyone getting it?

I've been a fan of the previous games, so I'll probably pick it up. Anyone else getting it or already have it? The reviews are quite good and the graphics I've seen look pretty cool (there's a central park course, for one). Anyway, that's that. I'm not sure if there are any deals for it, so if you know of any, feel free to post. Thanks

Sounds too easy again from the reviews I've read. Rental.

I rented it last night. It's got a lot of stuff that the previous years didn't (you can go back in time and play against old-timey characters) and there are many new games/challenges in there. It doesn't let you import your character from the previous year (or at least I didn't figure out how to do so), so it's not as easy as 2005. The course qualities look about the same, too, which was a little disappointing. Anyway, I've only scratched the surface on the challenges and game modes, but overall it's pretty good (and at least worth a rental). The xbox live challenges looks good as well, although I don't have xbox live so I haven't tried any of them yet.

Reviews said the game was rather easy...with some modes not having a difficulty setting. I'll take a look at it for 360 when it comes out....56 days.

I picked it up but haven't had that much time to play it. Rest assured, it's not that much harder than previous years, although there are some nice adjustments you can make. For instance, you can set the level of tiger-proofing before you play, and you can also make it reactive if you want, so it'll get easier or harder depending on how you're playing. Also, the new putting system is vastly superior to the horrible system from years past. Overall, it's a fun game to play, but I'll play any golf game that comes along. Unless you just love the series, you'd be much better off waiting for a price drop (although those always seem to take forever with this series.)
