I really like this forum because it seems that (for the most part) everyone around here behaves the way you'd like them to. Not a lot of bashing going on, good, honest reviews, and generally pleasant people. I would assume then that most of you here are older gamers. Just wanted to see how old, and how many.

I'm 24... 25 in Dec. Married and have a baby girl that was just born July 29th.

Got my start by tagging along with my older brothers to the arcades, playing Pac-Man, Joust, Galaga, etc. I'm married to a woman who is also a huge gamer and our 20-month-old son already knows how to turn systems on, put in/take out discs, and that the controller makes stuff happen on the TV.

30. My parents got me into video/computer games when I was little and they think I'm crazy still playing 20 years later. Different strokes...

37 here. Age is just a number :)

I remember playing pong, some sleepless nights of Combat and Adventure on the Atari 2600, baseball on the Intellivision, the Smurfs game on the ColecoVision and Night Trap on the Sega CD :lol: To name a few older games.

I remember playing this a lot with friends and laughing when "The Wade Boggs lookalike" would pull the plug on the mission because you spent too much time looking at the babes instead of saving them :lol:

(gulp) 38 now. Got a PSP for my birthday. Feeling pretty old in this thread. But if middle-aged men can't waste their time and money on video games, then I'll have to start lying about my age.

Been Gaming since I was 9. My Grandmother bought me an Atari 2600 for my 9th Birthday, against my Parents wishes. I'm forever grateful to her for not listening to them. :D

24. No one ever thinks it though. People think I am still of young college age (18/19). Not that I have any problems with that. Not that 24 is old either.

Too many people in their late 20's/30's keep saying how old they are. People are crazy. When your in your 60's/70's you will realize that was foolishness.

I will be going back to school in the winter. I should fit right back in as if I never left. So, that's a good thing.

I remember having The Odyssey as probably one of my first systems. Had an Atari 2600 I believe. We always had some kind of electronics/computers. My dad got me into computer games when they could be had anywhere on a floppy disc. I then eventually got a NES and it went from there. Stepped up to the Genesis and SegaCD and 32X and an Atari Lynx. Then I disappeared from gaming for a bit. Finally got a PS2 then the XBOX.
Now, I have two XBOX's in my house and m wife bought me a PSP as a wedding gift. I also have an XBOX360 on order. I probably now play more games, since it's a cheaper form of entertainment than the bar scene (plus, I'm married, so there is not really a "bar scene" anymore)

32 here! Been playing ever since I popped out. :) Plus a 1 year old son and a girl due on the day my XBOX 360 launches. :(
