ZG rules. We hit it again last night and got worked by the Edge of Madness boss. so we went and beat the Tiger boss (i got an awesome epic caster ring) and took down the snake boss with no one dying (if you dont count the partial wipe from the frist attempt which happened because too many people were close to him at the very start and he did the lightning thing).
The edge of madness boss we fought Hazzah-something was way hard. He summons big illusion mobs that hit for like 3K (but only have like 500 health). The hard part is he sleeps everyone so the illusions kill peolple (like the main tank) when everyone is asleep. I think horde have the advantage here because totems can take out the illusions when everyone is sleeping. im not sure how alliance can do it.

So where do you get trinkets?
I've leveled guys up to 42, 36 and 31, and i've never seen a trinket drop. There are a few at the auction house, but most require level 60.
But the other day, I was inspecting this 34 level guy's armor, and he had 2 trinkets! So where do you get those things?

Very rarely will you find trinkets early on in the game. The exception is when you're an engineer, you can make some pretty early on like goblin jumper cables. The very first trinket people will usually be able to get is from Maraudon, a lv 44 - 50 instance in Desolace. One of the mobs drop a +10 nature resist trinket. And a quest gives you a trinket that has a chance to boost your stats when you get hit.

joeblow69, one of the trinkets you saw on that lvl 34 might have been [Insignia of the Alliance/Horde]. If you pvp at all, you can buy that at Rank 2. No lvl requirement on that I think.

In the badlands, ~lvl39, there's a chain quest that gives you a trinket which gives you a running speed boost for 10s. The quest can be done by both factions, I believe.
Nifty Stopwatch
Binds when picked up
Trinket Miscellaneous
Use: Increases run speed by 40% for 10 seconds.
In Stranglevale, cold eye basilisks (lvl25-40) can rarely drop a cold basilisk eye trinket.
Cold Basilisk Eye
Binds when equipped
Trinket Miscellaneous
Requires Level 35
Use: Slows target's attack speed by 5% for 15 seconds.
But SeekOnce is right about the lvl 34 guy. Most likely pvp trinkets.
If you really want trinks at lvl 35, engineering is the way to go. The shrink ray is good for normal combat with a 5 min timer and mechanical dragonling is great for emergencies. The gnomish death ray is a fun toy if you've got the hp for it.

If you're an engineer you end up with a bag load of trinkets but the time you 40. My 56 warrior carries the following trinkets: gnomish battle chicken, mithril mechanical dragonling, mechanical dragonling, gnomish death ray, ultra safe teleporter, anti-fear pvp trinket, diamond flask, thunderbrews boot flask, net projector, carrot on a stick. i also have more in the bank line gnomish remote control, shrink ray, mech squirrel, etc.
A lot of the engineering trinkets have a long cool down (30 minutes to an hour). you can get all the engineering ones at level 35 (minimum level to get 300 engineering). having a level 60 dragonling battle pet is much more impressive at level 35 than level 56. (the battle pets level = your engineering level / 5)

We are going to do some mass recruiting to start with ZG by the end of the month here. So if anyone is on bonechewer and has a 60 and no guild give me a mail.

try finding small guild to form alliances with. If you just go for random people, you could get some 'bad picks' that have been booted from other guilds.

Oh man, I can't imagine how much time you'd have to invest to hit GM. I topped off at Rank 6 and thought THAT was bad.
Anyone else underwhelmed by 1.12? I can't believe it's already on the public test realm.

yep I did, whose gonna roll up the first alliance shaman?!
The only bad thing imo is the lore here is breaking apart. I'm actually sad for shamans on Horde side, not many will want to take shamans to raids over pallys. Sad though, a well played shaman rocks to. Just gotta know his roll and stop trying to WF everything.

Blizz doesn't care much about lore anymore (*cough* Draenei dimensional spaceship *cough*). And the Horde Pally/Alliance Shaman thing gets a huge
from me. You mean the Blood Elves get to be protectors of the light but the Night Elves don't? And why make both sides less distinctive? The RP aspect of this MMORPG is going straight to hell.
Though alot of casual players will probably see this as a plus. More choice, more flavor without having to reroll the other faction.

I doubt Blizzard will lose a lot of customers because of this. Those who have been playing awhile have already invested a lot of time in their characters and are addicted; the new players will appreciate the variety...
Now gimme my TAUREN ROGUE DAMMIT!!

Alliance has an edge in Pve. Horde has an advantage in Pvp.
The number one guild on our server was ropetown, who are horde. I say was, cause they all up and left as soon as server transfers were enabled. Thats how bad things are.

If you don't think alliance has an edge in PVE over horde, you don't know what the differences are between shaman and pallies. If you know what those 2 classes can do, you'll come to the conclusion that alliance does indeed have it easy in PvE. If you want a good read on the differences, check out this post:
