new Gameboy Advance retro compilations

In BB today, I noticed a few new oldies but goodies.

Millipede/ Super Breakout/ Lunar Lander

Risk/ Battleship/ Clue

Connect Four/ Perfection/ Trouble

Spy Hunter/ Super Sprint

and several more

Gamerankings.com has virtually no reviews for any of these titles. Anyone buy one yet? I'm interested in almost all of them. Retro games seem more fun in handheld mode for some reason.

Doesn't look good for Paperboy / Rampage: http://gameboy.ign.com/articles/644/644873p1.html

Fry's has most of them for $9.99 this week, I believe. I was interested in the Gauntlet/Rampart, but it wasn't one of the sale titles, and after reading the review of Rampage (single player rampage?), I don't hold much hope for multi-player gauntlet and rampart. I have fond memories of multi-player handheld Rampart with the Atari Lynx.

The Lynx rocked. I have 3 of them and Warbirds, Checkered Flag, Slime World, etc are still a lot of fun to play.

I got Risk/Battleship/Clue...just for Risk.

It's OK, I guess, but the computer AI is worthless.

Battleship is Battleship, which is to say entertaining for approximately 30 seconds.

Clue confuses me since I've never really played the board game and have no idea what the rooms are on the board. At any rate, I don't think it would be much fun anyway.

Darn, I was hoping that Risk would have a good computer AI.

An old windows 3.1 game of Risk, on a 3.5 floppy, is still perhaps by most played computer game. The AI is almost challenging enough (ie I can actually lose once in a great while, even more so when I purposely pick bad starting countries).

I would love to have the same thing on a handheld.

Risk: Global Domination for PS2 is very good, though I can't help but wonder if it cheats with the dice.

You can get it for $10 or so used.
