Gamecube games off-center on screen
 

I have noticed that the last couple progressive scan games I've tried on my Mits. 48413 are slightly off center. I've had "Spliter Cell" on the shelf for quite awhile since a Toys R Us sale probably last year. I've started playing it this weekend, but it's bothering me that there is about a 1" black strip on the right side of the screen. Unlike Metroid Prime 2, the in-game screen position function only changes the position of the graphics not the whole screen. I have my 480i/p settings centered via Avia on an older Sony DVD player. Which one is "correct?" I don't have that many progressive scan games, and I haven't tried them all on this TV. Is this a problem that other people are having?

If you turn on the Gamecube with the lid open, you can access a settings menu. I believe one of the screens has an option to adjust the screen position.
