N-Gage QD
 

Well, I just ordered an N-Gage QD. I needed a new phone and, my wife is using T-Mobile already so I thought I would look into this phone. Normally I would stay away from devices like this but, Amazon has a deal that is hard to beat. They have the phone for $74.99 with $200 in rebates if you sign up for a one year activation, Link. So, they are paying me $125 to use this phone. With all of the Java and Symbian games as well as emulators, I think I can start gaming pretty cheap. Apparently, you can connect to internet via bluetooth so, no need to pay extra for a GPRS connection. This will not be my main portable gaming device as my PSP should be here by the end of the month but, $125 in my pocket sounds good to me. I know the original N-Gage sucked ass but, this version has gotten some pretty decent reviews. What has been your impressions with this device?

I enjoy it. Alot of games can be had for $5 or less at Gamestop or EB.

Sounds like you bought it under the right situations, I would never recommend the unit, but if you need a phone and are happy with it, go for it.

I think Gamespot awarded it the best mobile phone of the year. In their review they clearly stated that they were disregarding the NGage catridge functionality and focusing on it's well rounded features, and the awesome deals you can get on it.

Also a friend of mine ended up with it, just because of the great deal he got. He has no plans to buy any ngage games to my knowledge.
