Arcade Controller Recommendations

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for an arcade type controller for the PS2, can anyone recommend a good one?

I won an X-Arcade and couldn't recommend that enough. That was a nice controller.

I 2nd this recommendation. I paid 150.00 for the 2 player version and I love it.

The X-Arcade is worth every single penny you'll pay for it.

You're now 4 for 4 on the X-Arcade. I have the 2 player version, had it for 2 years now. The 4 programmable modes are what sold me on it. There's nothing like playing on real buttons and sticks.

Woah, it seems pretty unanimous for the x-arcade. Anyone have any pictures or links to stores that sell them?

Go to http://www.x-arcade.com for pictures and more information. You can order it directly from them, and they have a list of resellers such as Fry's.

Just agreeing with the rest here that X-Arcade is really your best bet considering all the features and future compatibility. I use it on my PS2, XBOX and Dreamcast and it works great. Since it has standard arcade parts, fixing worn out parts is a breeze.

nabbed 2 of them for $50 each at Fry's a couple years ago. They have served me well since then.

I forgot to add this aspect of X-Arcade greatness to my suggestion. When I bought mine, they gave you a console adapter of your choice (in addition to the PC adapter) for free. They may still be doing that.
