Is the Madcatz selector a decent system selector?

While connecting my ps2 I accidently broke 2 S-video pins off the s-video connector. So when I went to the store to get a new cable I found that the sony component cables were $10 less then the s-video cable. Only one problem I have no free component slots

That's when I found this:

It seems to be good enough but was unsure and so thought I'd ask you guys

Now I know you may tell me "get pelican system selector pro" and I would but paying $180 CDN (after taxes) well to be honest I cant justify the price when I'm only using 3 slots (ps2, xbox, dvr) and no ethernet connections are required both xbox and ps2 are on wireless connections. So I cant see paying $180 for 3 connections

Anyways does anyone have an opinion on the madcatz hdtv selector?

Thank you in advance for all feedback

If you can't afford the system selector pro, thats just about as good as the next best thing... it will still blow the s-video cable quality out of the water. And even then, depending on the quality of your tv (and your cables), you might not even see a difference between this one and the system selector pro.
