he was just seeing if otter members were into gaming... don't really see much wrong with it... people seem to stick to a particular group here

threads like that get moved to the appropriate forum all the time. I don't see what's so special with that thread that it gets to stick around for so long.

the one that should be moved is the one about dvds. Heck, it should be locked IMO.

I can see why the game related thread gets to stick around though... Untill I joined the dvdtalk Halo 2 clan, I would hardly ever come into the game forum, and I played games all the time. You guys just seemed more hard core then I am is all.

We're far from hardcore - one of the most active posters in this forum will testify to that... repeatedly.

Look, this is very simple. The vast majority of people who post in the Other forum don't bother with any of the other forums here. In fact it has become a club of sorts. My thread in the Other forum had nothing to do with the fact that there are too many hard core gamers in the Video Game forum or that the Otters are "too cool" for the Video Game forum, it simply had to do with the fact that they tend to be two completely different groups of people.

I'm not sure if Groucho is just being funny, or if he is really being a dick about it.

It always has been that way- Of course the group changes over time.

Most otters probably go to other forums. They just follow the don't ask don't tell policy.

How many games of halo2 have you played mental? in the thousands!! dude you are too hardcore. j/k I understand what you are saying, before Halo2 I also never posted here, but I did lurk quite a bit. now things are different, and I post here all the time, just out of shear love for teamkilling all my Halo2 brothers.
