Retro Game Challenge #25 (1/16-1/23)
Week 25 is over!
The Rules:
New to MAME? Feel free to ask questions here or read the tutorials
I am going to host the current ROMs and list of all the past winners and high scores here.
The Games:
(click the titles for info and how to play)
Caveman Ninja (US) - Score to beat: devilshalo 195600
Mappy (US) - Score to beat: hardcore 72630
Zoo Keeper (set 1) - Score to beat: trozkd 570150
The Prize:
Whoever gets the high score for one of the games picks the next game that replaces it, so we should always have 3 to choose from. You also get your nameengraved permanently etched onto this eye catching trophy with a genuine Sharpie!
This Week's Winners:
The Rules:
- To enter, you just play one of the games and post a screenshot (F12 key in MAME) with your score.
- The deadline to post your high scores will be Sunday 9:00 PM Eastern US time.
- When you post a high score, pick a new game to play by the deadline. The sooner the better.
- The game should be at least 10 years old and one we haven't played before.
- Any scores you submit should be played during the week of the contest using no continues or any features of the emulator that you wouldn't get by playing the actual machine.

I know I will be playing all three games this week Hopefully we get more posts in this one, Zoo Keeper has almost been chosen 2 or 3 times before this.
This should be a beatable enough score to start Mappy off with.
Edit: Screw it, I'll just post my first scores of all of them
Caveman Ninja is nearly impossible to get a screenshot with your score on it other than the high score list.

I haven't even gotten around to trying road B. I've only gotten past level 2 using a continue. I've been spending more time playing Zoo Keeper.
and since nobody wants to beat the easy Mappy score

Awesome image...I'm going to start cutting out the score from the high score table and putting it in its place at the top of the "death" screen (that I can never screen cap in time)

desktop here with either an Xbox gamepad or an X-Arcade Solo stick. I usually just use the X-Arcade for shoot em up games so I can pound on the buttons.

He finished the game on Bomberman by himself, I don't know how many credits it took. We just played this game on Mario Bros. He got the higher score as Mario. But after he dies, I have to kill off Luigi and start a new game. 2 year olds have no patience
