Even if I edited his name, other people have quoted me so I don't think it'd help.

I have added him to my blocked list.

Perhaps the key was stolen, nevertheless I offered to work with him, he just wants to be an ass and be rude.

I'm not sure when the key was used, unfortunately I can't remember the key, I just made sure it was there when I checked the box.

Not sure if he used a credit card or PayPal funds.

He hasn't sent anything else except the eBay dispute. I had to respond to that otherwise it'd make me look bad in eBay's eyes, I assume.

I think he realized after you sent it to him that the discs were worthless and all you need is Steam to install and play... so he decided to try to get his money back.

That, or he's actually pissed at you and thinks you're running a scam where you sold your discs and a used product key and if he complains you offer him the working key/account.

He closed the dispute now, I got this message:

The buyer has closed the dispute and indicated that their concerns have not been resolved. If the transaction is eligible, the buyer may now elect to escalate this matter to a reimbursement claim under eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Program.

It looks like I am getting the shaft here.....

Steam should be able to confirm when a CD-Key was activated, but that will difficult to work out since you no longer have the CD-Key and he's being so uncooperative.
