Need help finding an arcade style shooting game for Xbox...

For the Xbox, I'm looking for the arcade style, Police shooter games. In the arcade, they usually have an attached light gun of some type and either a foot pedal for reloading, or you shoot off the screen. The closest thing that I can find to show what I'm talking about is Virtua Cop:

Screen shots for Virtua Cop

Is there any such games for the Xbox and a recommneded light gun?

We have Halo and other shooters, but this is a game that my nephew really likes in the arcades and it would be great to find something like that for him.

Thanks in advance!

House of the Dead III seem like the type of game that I'm looking for, cool, I'll rent and check it out - thanks goLUCKY!

Does anyone know if the light guns work fine with RPTVs?

Yeah, specifically its House of the Dead 3. It actually has House of the Dead 2 on it as well as a bonus feature. There is light gun made by Mad Catz that is pretty good and is really the only option anyway. Its green and I've seen it at EB Games. The only other thing you can get is Silent Scope complete, which is a compilation of those sniper games you may have seen at the arcade. They actually sell a Sniper rifle (its very big) for this that has a sensor in the eyepiece that changes the perspective on the tv to a target mode when you raise it to your face (the arcade machine actually has a tiny monitor built in the gun, but this would be too expensive for a retail controller). I think you can take pieces off of the sniper rifle, like the barrel and the stock to make it useable with games like House of the Dead.

I know projection tv's usually have problems with these type of games, unfortunately. I used to work at a gaming store and often had customers complain about this.

Great to know...thanks fallfan.

I read that Sega was trying to get Virtua Cop 3 onto the gaming consoles but there have been some snags. That would be the ideal!

Thanks gang!

In addition, there are a few no-name companies that sell light guns for the Xbox. You can usually get one (or two) fairly cheap on Ebay. I wish another company would make a gun with detachable stalk because I have Silent Scope and hear it's very hard to play with a hand-held gun and because the Pelican Silent Scope Rifle is very expensive and I hear it doesn't work very well at all.
