Neatest thing heard while playing Halo 2....
 

After a blazing firefight, one of my fellow Marines yells out, "I need a nurse, a FEMALE nurse!" What have you folk heard that was neat?????????

Someone snuck up behind me and said "knock knock" , and then they proceeded to melee attack me in the head before I could turn around.

Here are a couple I've heard marines in the game say.

"My O.G. license has been revoked!".
"Just so there is no confusion, that was my kill."

Howard Dean's "Yeeeeaaaaagh" scream as the death rattle of one of the grunts.

It's really him.

Was that a real person (during Live) or just part of the game?

somebody calling my team 'noobs' last night. :rolleyes: First it is a retarded term. Second, the game has been out a whole 3 days? Whose he calling a noob?

Then the ever wonderful 'owned.' Heard that a couple of times from different people. how original. That and the fact after one guy said it, we proceeded with a flag score not 10 seconds later. Now whose owned?

One more: After a match(we lost a flag match), on the stat screen, one idiot comes on and tells his team to say LOSERS on the count of three, so he counts down and he is the only loser that ends up saying it. :lol:

Now that is great!

maybe they have just been accustomed to talking smack in online games. halo is nothing new.

Yeah, knowing that I'm missing out on all the witty banter of anonymous 12 year olds is one reason I'm glad I'm not on Live.

This would explain where all the Mech Assault players have gone. :lol:

I heard something like:

"I threw all my grenades and my lunch too, accidentally."

If you guys played with me you would hear lots of "neat" things coming out of my fail mouth.

"This one time, at 7-11...."

Yeah we were playing a clan who all had the same names :rolleyes: and they beat us. Not by much and they got lucky at the end. Also, only one of their players was really good. Had it not been for him it probably would've been a tie. Anyway, as we're looking at stats at the end this one douchebag goes, "you guys fuckin' suuuuck". It made me laugh right away because his voice was slow and stupid with an accent so he sounded like 'Tard. :lol: So as I was hitting my button to exit I parroted him and gave a goofy laugh.

The Grunts have always been a great part of the game with their screams. :up: I like that they also have other Covenant soldiers that talk too.

me and 2 of my fellow marines were chasing down one of the little arm waving aliens and he said something to the effect of "lets capture him and ride him" I was rofl

One of the Marines was saying: "See this face? It's fear!"

Anyone recognize Laura Prepon's voice (from "That 70's Show") I've heard her and David Cross (from "Mr. Show") as Marines.

I'm dying to hear the Howard Dean scream, that's hilarious.

Last night, in a clan game.

It was a pretty close match throughout. Right at the end, we were dominating the other team and one of their members says "man, we couldn't do anytihng at the end cus of the lag" and some of his clan mates agreed. :rolleyes: No.. its called we were doing better at the end then you were.

Y2K, does that mean CLB is on Halo 2 then? :lol:

Hmm, I don't know if that was the game I was playing in or not. Last night in the clan, we were playing CTF on Midship or something. I got killed, and then the screen goes black with just the scorebox up. Slowly but surely every player on our team had an X by their name. Then after a little while, it says, "Round Over." I was like ???? What was that about?

Overall this game has been hands down the least laggy FPS I've ever played. However, it still happens once in a blue moon.

Nope.. this was a capture the flag at Zanibar I believe.

It was funny because the game was really smooth for everyone, and then at the end when they lose, they come up with that excuse.

Nope... If he's good, and mentions it when he sits on Santa's lap, he gets it for Christmas.

He does report, however, that the Mech Assault servers are now lag free! :up:
