Is there a definitive list of retro game machines?

I know Atari has one and Intellivision has one now and there are a few others. Does anyone know of a list of these? It seems like I saw one in the Mall that was Nintendo 64 stuff, but may have just been a controller that looked like it.

Anyone?

Okay, let's build a list.

Atari Flashback http://www.atari.com/us/games/atari_flashback/7800

Intellivision Direct to TV http://www.intellivisionlives.com/re...irect2tv.shtml

Any others?

I saw a frogger one of those at Target the other day too.

There's also a Konami one that has:
- Time Pilot,
- Yei Air Kung Fu,
- Gyruss,
- Rush N Attack,
- Scramble (space game)
- Frogger
So I'm not sure why you'd buy the one with only Frogger.

Here's the Activision one:

Toysrus.com (amazon) has a whole section of these, called 'Plug & Play' games on their main video game page. Apparently these things are selling pretty well, because there are a LOT of games available, and several more coming out before Christmas.

The 64-in-one type systems they sell at mall kiosks are Chinese bootleg NES systems. They've been around for a while at FYE and other stores. They're typically built into an N64 controller or a Genesis style casing with multiple controllers / light gun. Regardless of the casing, I've never seen them offer anything but NES games.
Earlier models used to offer only third-party titles, but the new batch includes Mario 1, Duck Hunt, and other Nintendo titles. They're also now being displayed prominently at lots of mall kiosks. Wonder if Nintendo will have them shut down before Christmas?

The genesis one with 6 games is officially licensed. The nintendo ones are not.

Huh. Hard to believe that the nintendo one is selling in malls, etc. if they are not legit. But maybe I have too much faith in things like that.

Actually, Nintendo just released a press release saying that they are going after the mall vendors:

REDMOND, Wash. -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Nov. 1, 2004 -- The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington has issued a temporary restraining order against the import and sale of video game systems containing counterfeit versions of Nintendo games being sold at numerous shopping malls.
You can read the whole thing here.

I've been seeing those Nintendo ones in malls since before last Christmas. Surprising how long it's taken Nintendo.

It probably wasn't too high on the list of things they're concerned about. Still, these guys had to know that Nintendo would come after them eventually. It's one things to sell this kind of stuff at flea markets, but setting up shop in large malls like they're some kind of legitimate business is just brazen.

That's what I mean- I've seen them in at least 3 or 4 different malls. Basically, every mall I've been to. It must add up.

There's a Commodore 64 one out now at QVC.

Any idea what the NES one is called? I'm looking at collecting them all. The Jakks ones (Atari, Namco, Activision, etc) The intellivision, Commodore, Konami, and Sega ones. Any others I've missed?

Jakks also has a few out that are themed to certain popular licenses such as Disney, SpongeBob, Spider-Man, and soon Star Wars. They basically take old games and re-imagine them with the other characters.
