The only price that I've seen is $50 (Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, Toys R Us). That's a let-down. I remember that I bought Vice City the day it was released at Target for $40 (actually, $50 plus a $10 gift card). I'm just going to wait for a sale, since I'm on a budget (and I have yet to finish GTA III and VC, anyway - but I doubt if I'll finish them any time soon).

Yeah, it's pretty much $50 everywhere. The nice thing about getting it from Best Buy, is that if you buy the new GTA, you get any greatest hits game for $5.

Best Buy with the $5 greatest hits game is the best. You might be able to use the GGC with the deal also, so $50 for two games aint bad at all.

Circuit City claims they'll have it Tuesday by noon at the latest, Best Buy says Wednesday. I'd PM at Circuit City if I were you.

Gamecrazy (Part of Hollywood Video) is having a 20% off sale, so GTA can be had for $40.

I just stopped by the one in Columbus, OH and it was $49.99, nothing about a %20 off sale. Do you have any more details?

Will Costco have this on release day? I'm dying to play and it's the closest store that sells video games!

Anyone know if the Toys R Us deal works if you buy one PS2 game and one X-Box game, or do they all have to be PS2?

BubbaTC. You can mix/match between consoles in the TOysRUs store.

If anyone is interested, I just called Fry's and they quoted me a 49.99 price over the phone. I'm in the Bay Area. I think I'm going to do the Toys R Us deal now for the Buy 2 Get 1 free.

If you need to trade in some games, gamerush(part of Blockbuster) has a decent deal. If you trade in 3 game at a time, they will credit you 5 bucks more for each game. I traded in Halo($21), Shemmue 2 ($10) and ESPN 2K5 ($13). This is with the 5 bucks added in for each game.

I'm going to trade in 3 more tonite. It should pay for GTA:SA and my pre order for Halo 2. Six old games for two brand new games isn't too bad. It will keep me busy for some time.

just got it from BB and used the $5off coupon too, so I got Socom 2 for free basically. be aware that if you use the coupon, it will charge you full price for the GH game, you have to go to the customer service desk and have them give you $15 plus tax back.

So, I ended up buying three copies from Toys R Us (buy two get one free) and selling two of the copies on e-Bay. Looks like final cost for the one copy for me is going to be around $20.
