Retro Game Challenge #13 (10/25-10/31)

Week 13 is over!
The Rules:
To enter, you just play one of the games and post a screenshot (F12 key in MAME) with your score.
The deadline to post your high scores will be Sunday 11:59 PM Eastern US time.
When you post a high score, make sure to pick a new game to play by Monday. The sooner the better.
The game should be at least 10 years old and one we haven't played before.
Please don't use continues, savestates or 15 year old Polaroids for any scores you submit.
So far we have only been using MAME to play the games, but that can change, if the winner so chooses.
I am going to host the current ROMs and list of all the past winners and high scores here.
New to MAME? Read the tutorials

The Games:
(click the titles for info and how to play)

Bubble Bobble - Winning Score: Lampei 1354230

Chicken Shift - Winning Score: D300 81860

Moon Patrol - Winning Score: hardcore 96660

The Prize:
Whoever gets the high score for one of the games picks the next game that replaces it, so we should always have 3 to choose from. You also get your name engraved permanently etched onto this eye catching trophy with a genuine Sharpie!

This Week's Winners:

I know what you mean. I don't think I'll be playing that one much this week. I'm burnt out on D300's puzzle games after playing Tetris and Pube-It to death.

Edit: I swear that was a typo even though p is nowhere near t on my keyboard. I'm not going to correct it though.

Yeah, that game hurts my brain. I played that Bubble Bobble and only got 18,000. You don't have to show off your high scores so early.

Bubble Bobble is just the continuation of his Rainbow Islands battle with Mrs. Mordred. Hopefully he loses this time so we don't have to play Super Bubble Bobble, Bubble Symphony, or Parasol Stars next. Fortunately Bubble Memories - The Story of Bubble Bobble III is only 9 years old, so it doesn't qualify is "retro" for 2 more months.

I spent many of quarters in Moon Patrol. Heck, I even remembered the layout of the game.

This is my first try at the game.

You'll get past those eventually. You just drive slow and shoot fast. It gets a little tougher when there are holes in front of them!

Your wife should just get her own username already. I agree Mrs. Mordred is a stupid name.

Then she can go into Otterville when you're not looking

Alot of perfect rounds and bonuses. I reached this level without losing any (eggs chickens or men) whatever they're called.
