Nov. 9th, Vacation, Sick Time or Just laying out?

I have it preordered at Best Buy, but I won't be taking off from work to play it. I already know I won't be a challenge for any of the experts online, so I will simply try to find games with people at my level, or get all my friends to get Xbox Live.

I'm sorry, I won't be listening to any Kerryantics until after Nov. 9th. :D

What about Nov. 15th for Metroid Prime 2 or later this month for GTA? Anyways I have this pre-ordered at gamerush, but I will probably pick it up a few days late, then let it sit on my shelf for about a month.

I work at EB, so on Tuesday i'll be doing nothing but selling them to you guys :)

My "sick day" however, is November 3rd. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw and Lord Of The Rings: The Third Age are released.

I ordered during the mtv.com deal, so I probably won't see my copy until a week later. So I guess I will be working the ninth.

I will probably wait for a sale. Even then, no game is worth staying home to play, lol.

Ditto. I guess it's safe to say we'll both be OWNED our first time out on Live.

I was thinking about taking the 15th off for Metroid, but I realized that would be a waste of a day off since November and December are pretty much me being here with no management and nothing to do. Plus if I wanted to be sure I had the game on the exact date of release, I'd have to pre-order it, which I don't do.

I will be home using a "mental health day". Actually I will be at EB at 11:15 to get it at midnight. Right about 12:15 I expect to be home weilding plasma swords.

I'll already be on vacation (NASCAR race in Phoenix) from the 5th to the 8th so naturally I took of the 9th so I could rest.....and by rest I mean playing Halo 2 all day long!

I took the 9th and 10th off. Picking up the game at Game Crazy down the street at 12:01 am...Can't wait!

Draven, have I mentioned lately that you suck? :D

How about November 5th? - which is when my local independant video game store is getting Halo2 in - and the owner told me that he's selling it immediately.

EB and Gamestop are getting it in around then also, but they have to stick to the street date.

Nothing for me, as I'm waiting for a price drop. I liked Halo a good bit, but I only do the single player mode and have a back log of games and Metroid Prime 2 coming up that I need to get through first.

I'm taking the off the 9th, 10th and 11th. I put in my vacation as soon as the date was announced. With the midnight release I should be able to get lots of good games in.

I even told my wife to take those days off too so that she could cook for me and take care of me while I game. I was pretty much joking but I think she is gonna do it. It's equal parts sad and sweet.

I have the rest of that week off, but now I'm considering taking some time off now because the French Beta was leaked.

I thought of that too and will be out the 10th also. I forgot that I still have all 5 paid sick days left to burn before the end of the year.

I've pretty much got everything ready to have an uninterrupted killing spree except,

I can't figure out a way to route the catheter tube so the kids don't trip over it. :D
