NHL '94
Best. Sports Game. Ever. I owned lots of games for the genesis, and I rented a lot more than I owned, but the only game I really remember is NHL '94. It was 2D sports perfection. |

I spent countless hours on Madden 96, but as far as non-sports games go, I would have to say Shadowrun.

Shining Force
Shining Force II Pirates! Gold |
Another vote for NHL 94
PGA Tour Golf Madden NBA Showdown: Lakers vs. Celtics - When Kevin Johnson was hitting his threes from the top of the key I was unbeatable in that game ;) Shinobi Spider-Man |
General Chaos was the best Sega Genesis game ever produced.

I could never afford Phantasy Star IV, but I did love Phantasy Star II and (to a lesser extent) PS III. Amazing that they put both (plus PSI) on one GBA cart. Sega, where's my GBA Phantasy Star IV, and when are we going to get a V, instead of all this online nonsense? |
