Huge problem in NFL 2k5
 

The fake punt run, if you run up the middle, is good for 15 yards every time, against any "punt return" whether it is middle, left, or right. I think that's a glaring mistake in the game. And the AI never compensates for the gain. Every 4th down, less than 15 yards can be converted with the play. Glaring oversight on the part of Visual Concepts.

hmmm, haven't heard of this one yet.

I'll test it out.

There is also the DL glitch.

I should mention, that I play as the Browns. And it works against every defense I've tried it against, both pro and all-pro settings.

Does it work against online opponents?

If they call Punt Return (Left, Middle, Right) I'm sure it's good for at least 5 yards, but a human opponent can probably adjust quicker. Don't want to be that guy who is known for "fake punt run" though.

I guess some of these glitchs are good for when you play suckers. Today I played a game and before the start this guy started changing players in almost all the positions!
And yeah, he didn't punt in 4th downs but at least most the times it was a pass...

I lost 17-7 but it was really a close game.
