Xbox Live 3 month subscript question
 

I let my Live subscription cancel out and I wasn't too clear on how this works. I know that you can switch your payment options (monthly or yearly and such), but if I buy the 3 month subscription card can I still upgrade it to the pay once a year subscription on my Xbox dashboard once I've re-subscribed?
