Strange GTA:VC bug
 

The other day I was playing some GTA:VC on my PC, just goofing around, getting into trouble, no missions or anything. I got to a point where I couldn't outrun all the cops anymore, so I typed in the wanted cheat, and all the cars drove away. Except for the helicopter that kept following me around, everywhere I went.

If I went into a building, it would still be hovering, waiting for me, when I left. I could outrun it in a car, but once I slowed down, it would eventually catch up again. I didn't want to lose this hilarious bug, but I had to go, so I saved the game and crossed my fingers. It worked! So now I have a saved game where I have a police helicopter following me constantly. I think I'll call it the "Goodfellas Bug."

Has anyone else had this happen or other weird bugs?

This game is full of weird bugs and glitches.

My XBOX version has a strange bug, too. After you beat lots of missions and get all the hidden packages, the next time you turn the game on, it'll hang on the load screen and play the rain sound. :(

Lots of bugs, glitches and overall weird stuff.

But yet every magazine and website gives it a AAA score. I don't get it. The gameplay sucks.

There were many bugs in the game but nothing that made it unplayable IMO. My favorite "glitch" was how you could go into a burger joint on the 3rd island and shoot people and the army and SWAT team would show up but they couldn't get in. There was massive mayhem outside the store as they rammed their cars into one another and tried to shoot through the glass (which they couldn't). Pretty cool.

Yeah...it's still a great game

Hmm... maybe finding some of these "bugs" will inspire to start playing this game again.

I would not say it sucks but it is really thin on game play. My biggest gripe was how some of the boat missions were next to impossible.
