Those aren't games. They're just graphical demos.

The demo scene has been around for 15 years or more. Check out scene.org

Some really cool stuff has come out over the years. Back in the day there was a group called Future Crew, and a few members from there went on to create Max Payne.

Yes, that's a game obviously, my fault. Guess they took some of the technology they had already used for a demo and made a game out of it. Cool
