what was the name of the nintendo unit that you looked into, and was 3d and red

anyone know what the hell i am talking about? it was released sometime after super nintendo i think....it was completely red graphics, and you leaned over and looked into it, and was 3d...it was a bomb, which is probably why i can't remember the name.

LOL, that was probably the only reason I didn't buy one. I played a display model for like 15 minutes and that was about all I could take.

I love my Virtual Boy. Goldeneye almost came out for that. Maybe that would have saved the system.

I have one with out the tripod. It was a store display unit that was not part of inventory. When it when bye-bye, the display came home with me. (I didn't get the pack in game though, it was something else in there)

Of all the Nintendo bad ideas my favorite was R.O.B. Still have him on my computer desk. I've had him for 19 years and he still works.

Nintendo might have bad ideas, but they know how to build stuff.

ROB was actually a pretty good idea, considering the dodgy reputation video games had in the mid '80s. Parents (and investors) would see the robot and consider it more like a toy than a video game system.
