Buying NES Games?
Does anyone know of any good retailers online that sell NES games besides Gamestop and EB?

pawn shops

www.estarland.com, if you're willing to spend more than you should.

Right now, Gamestop B&M have 30% off all NES/SNES/Genesis games. Some of them will even let you stack the 10% card if you have it (some won't.. it varies). Best bet is to hit pawn shops, garage sales, and flea markets. Gamestop is getting rid of all their old stocks so it's going to get harder and harder to find this stuff, which is why I've been cleaning these places out to ensure I have a good collection without having to resort solely on eBay.

EB Games are selling their NES games at "Buy 1 Get 1 free"

EB's prices are also twice what any other store would charge.

I would love to get a copy of Mega Man 2 with its original box and instruction manual. I have all the others, but for some reason missed #2.
Seems like most people did not save the boxes. Most used copies I've found or seen on eBay don't have it. I was very fussy about these things and saved everything. |
I've never found any good selection of oldschool games from online vendors. Either their prices suck, the selection sucks, or both. Plus, you can never get a game with the instructions, box, etc. I always end up going either with Ebay, or buying locally from the independent used game shop. Rummage sales work well too. I got a NES with Megaman 2, 4, 6, Metroid, and some other games for $15 a few years back at a rummage sale. Plus a Sega Genesis and a couple of games for $5.

Anybody know where to get a Genesis cheap? EB used to have them listed for $12.99, and I was getting ready to order...but the unit has disappeared.
Damn. |
Pawn shops, Goodwills even. I found a Genesis 1 and a Master System at Goodwill not too long ago for $4.99 each.
