Whats a Good 'Video Game Chair'?

Any pics or links of a good video game chair?

Dream chairs apply not necessarily one you personally own...

I've always been happy with a comfy couch. Just gives you more options, you can sit, sit with your feet on a table or ottoman, lie down, etc.

It's all about these. You can get a back rest to add on. Some of them have arm rests. They're drumming thrones, but are the most comfortable seats ever.

These chairs are very comfortable, but they cost over $1000.

The Ekornes chairs remind me of an Ikea chair with more padding (and the Ekornes chair is probably a lot more comfortable).

I didn't have a lot of money, so I got a pair of folding chairs from Function Junction, with matching ottoman. They're pretty thick padded canvas wrapped around metal tubing. You can adjust how much they recline by moving hooks along a series of four holes in the tubing. They look similar to that Ikea chair, and when they're folded, they stand against the wall neatly. They were about $100 each.

D300, thanks for the link to ekornes, I am getting a 180 gallon reef aguarium and it is in oak, and I wanted to get one of ekornes couches to match it, do you know where I can find prices for them?

Anyone remember that really stupid video game chair they made years ago (circo Original Nintendo)? It was plastic I think with gray apholstry. Really funny like the Nintendo Glove.

Anyone ever tried these out?

Poof Chairs

I saw one in one of those "show us pics of your HT/game room" threads a while back, and it looked really comfy. Plus, a recent EGM had a similar article about game rooms, and did a little write-up on these polymorphic chairs, too.

They look really interesting, but I haven't heard enough about them from people who actually own one yet. . .

(And yeah, if the brunette was included, I would buy a whole set. . .)

Isn't that just a big bean bag chair? What about those little rockers that are real low and cheap? A friend had one when we were young and it was great at the time.

There is a dealer locator on their site Ekornes. It's hard to find prices online for their products because they're in Norway. But I saw them in a store that sells Scandinavian furniture and I remember the chairs were about $1200 each.

nope. if you sit in it, you'd notice an immediate differenct. feels sort of like soft... i don't know how to describe it. it doesn't feel like little pellets... more like a continuous support system.

my problem is that you really need a decent sized one and they're kind of big.
