Finally signed up for Live!
 

If anyone had noticed my whining about trial codes not working and my asking for two player game suggestions they would have guessed i was considering it pretty heavily. But i got an email today reminding me that if i purchased Live today or tomorrow i could get a free game from Microsoft (Links 2004, Top Spin, or PGR2). So i finally broke down and picked up the new kit bundled with Crimson Skies.

So now i'll be venturing onto the world of multiplayer console gaming - something i haven't done since the Dreamcast days and chu chu rocket! :)

I just signed up this past Saturday. Loving it so far, especially Splinter Cell 2. Whats this about a free game from Microsoft? I know they include a game in the starter kit.

I had signed up for emails from them for special offers and they sent me an email a few days ago saying that if i signed up for xbox live between 5/8 and 5/15 they will send you a free game between those three. The link was customized for my email address or i'd share it.

Absolutely! I actually just played this for the first time tonight and adored dogfighting - granted i'm not very good but man was it fun.

ahhh i see, thanks. guess it pays off to sign up for those types of things every now and then. :)
