New Zelda for cube! (not WW2)

Saw this in the forums at cheapassgamer. Apparently there is a new Zelda game coming out...non-cel shaded. I guess a lot of people will finally get there wish for a realistic zelda on the cube. I really don't know much info and am still skeptical as to the accuracy of all this, but here are the links.

Couldn't get onto the ign site to check everything out, I think its being hammered.

Another zelda game is great news for me since OoT is my favorite game of all time.

Lol, you're looking at pictures hosted on Nintendo's website, and are skeptical of their accuracy?

I am going to kind of miss the cell shading, though. I always thought it looked really nice, but was disappointed that Wind Waker really wasn't that great of a Zelda game. I would have loved to have seen the engine given a second chance in a land-based Zelda, but this new title also looks pretty good.

Wow. That looks great! I keep rewatching the video! It looks like lord of the rings. Where was Nintendo hiding this? It looks pretty far along, like more than halfway for sure. Maybe we'll see it this year! Hopefully the music will be better though.

I meant the info I had read so far on the game, my bad.

Actually I still haven't looked at the pics or video since I am at work.

Looks fantastic. I'm not a big fan of cel shaded graphics in general, though I did think WW looked great. Still, I greatly prefer this look.

I liked what I saw but the music just seemed too old school to match what I was seeing.

oh my goodness.

Every time I have the slightest thought of getting rid of my GC... I see something like this. And there's no way I get rid of my GC.

Just saw the video. Damn! I've loved just about every Zelda game. Loved the look of every one as well, including Wind Waker. While I am a little sad to see the Cell Shading go (thought it was neat) this does look sweet. About time we got a realistic Zelda on a next gen console (besides Soul Calibur 2 of course).

Best $200 that I have now spent, there since day 1. As far as coming out this year I do not just see it, but you never know. The only reason I say this is because Metroid 2 is scheduled to come out possibly at the end of the year. It's all speculation though, let's be patient and hopefully before the end of the show we will have some solid info, then of course add about 6 months for typical Nintendo delays so that they can extend the Gamecube's life before the next system comes out at next year's E3 with hopefully the sweetest Mario creation ever.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I wonder if Nintendo is still going to release a WW2 though, since they've already announced that too.

The cell shading isn't gone for good. Wind Waker 2 was announced some time back. It will keep the cell shaded look. We will have the best of both worlds.

Um, sweet

EDITEd

I watched the video, looks pretty sweet to me. I hope they manage to control the scope of the landscape, which is a very important part of the experience for me.

God bless Nintendo. This make sense though, since they already had the Wind Waker engine to work off of.. much like Majora's Mask was a tweaked Ocarina of Time. I hope it's true.. more Zelda = more happy me.

Between this, a second Wind Waker, and Metroid Prime 2 coming out it seems the Gamecube will be getting some of my gaming dollar for quite a while still.

Yep, it's mainly Nintendo's killer first party games that keep me gaming. My interest would have flamed out totally long ago if not for them.

Someone at work was telling me about this, as they were watching the video. When he told me it wasn't WW2 and it wasn't cell shaded, I was very surprised. I liked Wind Waker a lot, but this looks very, very cool!
