XIII for xBox $9.99 @ CC, is it worth it?

title says it all - what do you think?

I read the reviews online - nice graphics - OK game play. I am a big FPS fan... so i think it will be good for me..

I will be dumping it on eBay when i finish it anyway...

online reviews

I played it for about 20 minutes and it was decent. Definitely worth 10 bucks.

I paid $30 Dollars a long time ago. I still think it was worth paying that much for that game.

Paying $10 for it is a steal!!! GO GET IT!!!!!!!!!!

I was afraid they would sell out so i picked mine up today and will go back for the price correction tomorrow. Spent about 3 hours playing it this afternoon and loved it. Really fun game with a neat soundtrack and a very cool style. Unfortunately i don't have Live yet so i can't comment on that...

As a side note it is regularly 19.99 at circuit city but at my location every copy was stickered 49.99 except for two which said 29.99. They don't keep up with the price cuts

I bought it today too and price adjust it later this week. Definitely a cool game, overhyped when it was first released but at $9.99, it is better than most games in the $19.99 range (except Colin McCrae 04, that game is GOLD at $19.99)

Great game, well worth $10. Or $9 if you buy it at BB first, then pricematch it to get the 110% price guarantee.

But then I don't have to say that, as we all know to always buy a product at the store where it is HIGHER priced, at least if you have a CC and BB nearby.

Hmm... the question is, Xbox or PS2?

I guess I'll go Xbox... don't own many games for that system

No FPS controls as fluidly as Halo, but XIII is pretty good. Well worth $9 IMHO.

It has a somewhat decent control scheme, the auto aiming is a bit sporadic though. It's nowhere near the level of greatness most other auto aims are, some people see that as a good thing though.

Well... I picked the game up and have played it for about 3 hours. I would say the game is definitely worth $10.

The game reminds of Bond FPS games. Lots of gadgets are used and there is a story line that seems semi-interesting. I like the whole PIP affect you get with certain shots, the view around the conrer, etc. The score is very upbeat and keep you "into" the game.

The GUI could be a little better. There could me some more control customization.

The graphics are pretty nice, I think it is a shame that there are not more cell graphic FPS games after playing this.

Hmmm, I'm really on the fence for XIII.

The last two FPS I played all the way through were Halo and Half Life (I love the genre, but feel that most FPS games lack good control and story). If anyone has any extra feedback about this game, I'd be most appreciative.

But I guess for $10, I should take a chance. I need something to tide me over until Halo 2 hits.

I've easily played a good 8-9 hours on this game since i got it yeasterday and am greatly enjoying it. The story has the whole conspiracy thing going for it which i dig a lot. Fun game with tons of style - i just wish more weapons had a zoom so i could be a bit more accurate. Nothing like a stealthy head shot with a throwing knife to really get me going. Now to get Live set up so i can take it online

Picked up the PS2 version today. Haven't gotten to play it much, but the parts I have played are really tight. For $9.99, can't beat the price! Thanks for the heads up!!

That's true Trigger, but after 3 years of gaming on my couch, I'll never go back to more than occasional PC gaming.
