Unless the graphics engine has been overhauled then no that does nothing for me.

Forget the graphics. I'm assuming they'll be improved over the 2 year old Vice City. I'll get this regardless. GTA games are the best bang for the buck in my book. Mindless action, pick up and play, go anywhere, do whatever you feel like gameplay. Bring it.

(I heard 50 cent might play a role in this one!)

Looking good to me.

This series is still my favorite of all time, and I will no doubt be getting this on it's release date.

Any new information on this title since the last time it was discussed? I'm not really sure of the point of this thread...

Wow have fun waiting. It's games like these that make me glad that I have a PS2.

People who don't like GTA are crazy.

Still confused as to the point of this thread though. Am I supposed to be excited that DVD Empire is taking pre-orders?

Ah, point taken. Well either way, I don't think I could wait a year or two until it hit Xbox while all of my other friends were talking about the game and playing it. Although I do think that the games look better on Xbox.

The subject header should be taken out, given a smoke, and summarily executed.

OOooh... someone bring up the topic of Michael Moore so we can complete the DVDTalk trifecta and have this thread shut down!

Well, what'd you expect with a horrible ambiguous thread title and a freakin' advertisement as the only point of discussion? The thread was doomed from the start. (oh, and Michael Moore is fat!)

No... you're fat... and ambiguous... let's get this back on topic.

THIS SHOULD GET YOU ALL EXCITED

Let the discussion continue...

Seriously, I like GTA. Here's what would get me really excited about this game.

I want the driving to be as good graphically and as playable as Midtown Madness 3 except include all the things that make it GTA (running over folks etc).

I want the walking aspect to be as good graphically and as playable as SOCOM 3rd Person Perspective.

I want alternate branchable storylines.
