Project Gotham Racing, Importing Music?

Alright, this is probably an easy answer, but for some reason I cannot figure out how to import music from my Soundtracks that I created over to the actual game. It states on the back cover and the manual for PGR that you can do this but I cannot seem to figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would much rather listen to some great music like Metallica and QOTSA rather than a lot of the hip hop in this game. Don't get me wrong there is some great music there, just not my taste. Thanks for the help everyone.

It's easy. Pause the game. Go to Options, then Sound Options. Select Sounds, then go to CD Soundtrack. It will show Default CD, but by moving the pad left or right you can select any soundtrack on your hard drive. Enjoy, it's a great game.

Decker, does not appear to work. You do mean for PGR and not say PGR2. When you are actually playing the game and press start to pause the game sound settings does not come up. Now before playing there is an options category but here I am still not able to import what is on my soundtracks. Or a stupid question here since the Xbox is new to me and I do not have a controller in front of me at the moment, is there an actual PAUSE button and not the START button that I always have assumed is a "PAUSE" button from my roughly 20 years of Nintendo. Thank you for your help and anyone else that has any info on this problem I seem to have.

Sorry, I was referring to PGR2. I don't have the original. Sorry for the confusion.

per www.gamefaqs.com, in PGR, under opitions menu:

Music Manager - Let's you select which tracks from the game's soundtrack and
from the music that you have on your Xbox which you want to hear in the game on
user radio or CD modes in-game.

That's the best I can do for you, I'm afraid.

I only have the original, and his description sounds about right. You change it in the same menu where you can change radio stations.
