I kind of want to get in on this, eventhough I haven't played the first one yet, I have a stack of about 10 unplayed games...... oh, and I don't have an Xbox, but the price drop is making me contemplate

If I did not have so much to play right now, I would pick it up. Oh well....will just have to wait for the magic $20.00 price tag in a few months.

Anyone have a scan of the ad, we did not get one in our paper this weekend, and I have a GC I want to use with a PM.

I had this in my cart and was up to the final 'submit order' botton, but then had an epiphany.
I have maybe 100 largely unplayed or even unopened games. I haven't opened the original Splinter Cell yet.
By the time I really need this game, it will be $19.99 or less.
I resisted.
There is hope for me maybe.
Of course, later that day I bought a second copy of Kaanarj Rally for my GBA for the twice a year I might play linked up w/ my nephew. But 9.99 is a lot harder to resist than 29.99.

Price matched today at Circuit City, and I think they must have taken 10% of the difference off as well... my price pre-tax was $27.99.
Not shabby at all... of course, the first one is sitting in my stack of unplayed XBox games. I think I just buy these things because they're out there.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't even notice it the first time I looked at the CompUSA ad the first time I looked thru it since the print was so small. I pricematched it at my local Best Buy. When the clerk had the manager sign the price match, she couldn't believe the price (she said especially for CompUSA ) and double-checked the ad.
Now to finish The Thing (yes I am that behind) and Prince of Persia and then Panora. I just finally finished Return of the King.

so are any of you guys who picked it playing on LIVE yet? I bought the game when it first came out and played through the single player rather quickly (cuz I love splinter cell so much )
anyways, I finally tried multi-player last night. It was really fun even though I knew none of the maps and stuff. It's like a whole new game when you play with other ppl...makes you want to really memorize everything so you can crush the opposition
if anybody wants to try this online feel free to add my gamertag: XLPANDA (yup, it's all caps)
