E3 2004 - Where's everyone staying?
I know there's anothe E3 thread but I was interested about where everyone else was staying. If there's enough of us in one hotel it might be cool to try and get together one day after the show. My group and I will be staying at the Quality Inn Downtown on W. Olympic Blvd.

I found that staying anywhere close to the convention center itself is quite expensive. I found a hotel in Rosemead near the freeway for $100 for two nights. It's only 10mi. from the convention center but it's definetly better than driving from San Bernardino Co. for two days.
I also realized that the day after I made those reservations that the E3 mailer came in and had listings of hotels to stay in with the rates and an app. where you had to apply for hotels to stay in. I think the E3 company reserves all these rooms way in advance and in turn flips them onto the Attendees. So, unless you make reservations way in advance, I highly doubt you'll find a good room within a reasonable price so close to the event.

I will be staying at my place in LA (Brentwood), wherever that ends up being, since I am looking for places for my new job. Unfortunately I won't be going to E3. Hopefully next year.

I haven't booked a hotel yet found some that were about 2-3 miles from Convention Center for $50 a night. Afraid to stay farther out don't want to have to rent a car also.

I could stay at my house in OC or sleep at my sister's apartment in Hollywood, or sleep at my friend's house in K-town. I'm still not sure yet. Can't wait for E3, it's going to be my first time.

I'm not sure yet - either my work or my fiancee's work is getting us a hotel room, won't know for a while still.
