HELP NEEDED: There's a spider in my X-Box!!!

He was on the wall, but when I tried to get him, he fell on the X-box, and then proceeded to crawl into the vents along the right side. Now he is hiding behind the plastic, mocking me, where I can't get at him. I turned it on, hoping the fan would make him want to run out.

Do you think it's ok to spray a little Raid in there?

Well, I lifted it a bit and set it back down, and he emerged.

Should I really get the vacuum or leave it alone?

Honestly, you should just leave it alone. The spider wont hurt anything. Unless ofcourse, he is like 5 inches wide.

No Vaccuum!
It may generate static electricity, and fry your Xbox.

take the case and turn it on its side(like a PS2), then run water through the vents. That should wash him out.

Ack! Too late!

He is gone. The vacuum bag was getting full, so I took it to the trash as well.

Thanks guys!

This reminds me of the the story (from NCS?) of the broken Sega Saturn. Saturn is brought into repair shop because it stops working suddenly. Shop opens it up, and finds the electrocuted remains of a half dozen or so roaches that decided to invade the system. Yummy.

You should kill it. Kill it dead, multiple times. Spiders are crusaders for the dark lord Satan. I'm not even religious, I don't believe in Satan, but I know that he created spiders in order to bring pain and torture to the masses. The only reason spiders exist is to eat human flesh, and cause them to die. It is a proven fact
