FYE: Soul Calibur 2 $10 after $30 MIR
Didn't see this posted anywhere:
Soul Calibur 2 was $39.99 - $30 MIR at FYE. I don't recall if it was one particular platform or all three, however. Worth a look if you're interested (hadn't seen any rebate deals at FYE previously for games - hopefully the start of a new trend).

How does the rebate work, do you have to mutilate the game UPC to get it? I'm just not down for that, if they have something like DVD's, with a proof of purchase tab, then we are talking.

I would check out the FYE Rebate thread in the DVDTalk Bargains forum for more info on the rebates.
As for the UPC, FYE's price sticker has a UPC code on it, so posters have been using that instead, with success.

hmm, I just called the local FYE for more info and it's offered up to the 19th of this month. However, the rebate is only good on the PS2 version
Can anyone else confirm if this is only valid for the PS2?

help, I went to FYE and I could only find it for $49.99 both as a search and under fighting games. I was looking for PS2. Could someone send me a link to where I can find this?
And an excuse for why I should by another game? (not for me, but for my wife )

Just went back to their website and found out that they're all over the place (including Vermont). There's even one that's just forty miles away!....It's not worth driving that far for a game but at least my level of ignorance dropped a notch.

The game cube one was superior in both graphics, and playability, IMHO
