My Gameboy Advance keeps resetting...
 

Anyone else have this problem? (search didn't help)

The green light is on, meaning it's been charged. I'll play for a couple minutes and then it just resets as if I had just turned it on and off. This has happened on a couple different games.

Bootleg games from Asia?

No, The Sims & Firepro Wrestling 2. US versions. Store bought.

Sounds to me like your rechargeable battery is giving a false charge indicator or not holding a sufficient charge. Perhaps it is time for a new batt?

Could be a loose or dirty battery contact too. Take the battery out and check. (Bend the contacts out if needed.)

Ok, I'll check the battery before buying a new one. I haven't used it THAT much! Don't those batterys last 1,000 hours or something crazy like that?

I did recharge it (again) the other day. Doesn't reset on me all the time now, just half the time (like every other match I play in Fire Pro Wrestling). I'll check the batter contacts. If that don't work, I'll get a new battery.
